AIMS
To promote both classical and modern sport karate.
To teach karate to both children and adults in a fun disciplined and productive environment, and keep them motivated to exercise regularly and effectively.
To boost their self awareness, confidence and social skills.
CLASSES FOR CHILDREN
Our very popular childrens classes are conducted in a safe and friendly atmosphere with a focus on fun and fitness.
Children receive the proper attention and perform tasks appropriate to their level of skill.
Parents and teachers constantly comment on the improvement of behaviour and attention levels of children who train regularly at UKA clubs.
COMPETITION
UKA are members of Shikon and Sensei Ian Cuthbert has been the Shikon national coach since joining in 1987.
The Shikon squad was the number one WKF style squad over the last fifteen years and has now moved on to the WUKF for new challenges.
Ian acts as English representative for Christophe Pinna and his Internationally renowned system.
